In the heart of SoHo, New Classic Restoration partnered with the renowned James Cohan Gallery to deliver a full-scale transformation of their 5,000-square-foot exhibition space. This high-profile project blended craftsmanship, precision, and modern design to reflect the gallery’s elevated vision.

We refinished the original flooring to bring out its natural character, installed state-of-the-art lighting to highlight artwork with precision, and applied Level 5 plaster with premium paint across 12-foot-high walls for a flawless, museum-quality finish.

Custom metal-and-glass offices were constructed to enhance both transparency and functionality, while oak millwork details added warmth and sophistication to the space. Every element was built to support the gallery’s operations while providing a striking backdrop for world-class contemporary art.

The result: a stunning, functional environment that elevates both the art and the experience, right in the center of New York’s art scene.
