New Classic Restoration LLC recently completed the renovation of a 3,500-square-foot gallery located on the 3rd floor of a commercial building in New York City. The project focused on delivering a clean, exhibition-ready space with refined architectural details and high-performance finishes to meet the standards of a modern art gallery.

Overview of Work:

• Refinished flooring throughout, restoring the surface to a gallery-grade standard with a clean, consistent finish.

• Fabrication and installation of a custom reception desk, designed to be functional while maintaining the minimalist aesthetic of the space.

• Construction of full ceiling-height walls, providing expansive surfaces for art display.

• Installation of ¼" architectural reveals along all walls, offering subtle definition and a contemporary edge to the interior architecture.

• All surfaces finished with a Level 5 skim coat, followed by precision painting to achieve a smooth, seamless look suitable for high-end exhibitions.

• Carpet installation in designated areas to add warmth, acoustic comfort, and visual contrast.

• Modification of the sprinkler system to integrate cleanly with the new layout while meeting building code and safety requirements.
